Need Help...I was wondering if anyone can help me. I have this bar at the top of my screen, and it won't go away. No matter what I try, it just stays there. On it, it says "spyware or adware infection! Click here to scan your computer for spyware and adware..." I have done it numerous times, and it still won't go away. Please help!
Oh, and the reason this isn't in the help section is because I didn't feel it fit into what was posted there. Thanks.

Right click or normal click on the yellow bar or the link and try to figure out what program its is.
Then go to add or remove programs and remove it.
Or just ignore it.
Or if you left or right clicked the yellow part, maybe it would say something like, never show this again or something.

Thanks, but I tried that, but it doesn't work... The stupid thing just won't go away.

It might be one of those things that tries to get you to download a program that "gets rid of adware and spyware" and just ends up GIVING your computer those infections.I wish I could see it to make sure...Oh and btw thanks for showing us the screenshot.

I dunno......
ah, goto Start>all programs>accesorys>system tools>disk cleanup. Or something like that.
Do that. If that doens't work, I don't know what to tell you. Just ignore it.

Finally! I came on this morning (at 5:30) and it was gone! I'm assuming my dad fixed it, although I don't see how he could if I couldn't.

Odd im not going to share in info on me but I never got spyware on my site.No matter which comptuer I go to.Check your security and scan your comptuer.If your security sytem will be able to detect the virus/spyware.It shall also be able to remove it.(unless you got a cheap security).So just remove it and ur down.

We have norton and Symantec, but I got it fixed, so you might as well lock this. Thanks for the help though!
